Long ride east to the Bay of Bengal. First stop at Konark Sun Temple — UNESCO World Heritage stone chariot. Then to Puri. Sea bath. Jagannath darshan.
Begin the return ride. Back through Bhubaneswar to Sambalpur. Familiar dhabas, easy ride.
Through Raipur into Madhya Pradesh. Pench — the inspiration for The Jungle Book. Evening + morning safari for tigers.
