A complete Spiti circuit from Mumbai. Mumbai → Ratlam → Jaipur → Chandigarh → Shimla, then deep into Kinnaur via Chitkul (last Indian village before Tibet), Nako, and into Spiti Valley proper. Kaza is the base — Komic, Hikkim, Chicham Bridge, Key Monastery. Then over Kunzum La via Losar and Chandratal back to Manali, and the long ride home through Chandigarh, Kota, Dhule.

NH48 north via Delhi bypass. Continue to Chandigarh — the planned city. Last big city before the mountains.
First serious climb. NH5 winding road. Mall Road, Christ Church. Cool air after 4 days of heat.
Hindustan-Tibet road. Through Narkanda, Rampur, into Kinnaur. Chitkul — last inhabited village before Tibet. Baspa river. Wooden houses.
Dramatic landscape change to high desert. Nako Lake — sacred turquoise lake at 3,662m. Padmasambhava monastery.
Cross into Spiti district. Tabo Monastery (1,000+ years old). Dhankar — clifftop fortress. Reach Kaza — Spiti capital at 3,800m.
The Spiti highlight day. Komic — highest motorable village (4,587m). Hikkim — highest post office. Chicham Bridge — highest in Asia. Key Monastery — postcard-perfect.
Short ride towards Kunzum La. Losar — last village in Spiti. Cold winds picking up. Prepare for the pass.
Cross Kunzum La (4,551m). Detour to Chandratal Lake — the moon lake. Cross Hampta valley to Manali. Long demanding day.
Down the mountains via Mandi, Kullu. Heat hits hard after 8 days at altitude. Sleep Chandigarh.
Long highway day south through Delhi NCR, Jaipur bypass, to Kota in Rajasthan.
Through MP, into Maharashtra at Dhule. Long hot plains ride.
